Punta Gorda Criminal Defense Attorney, Andrew Fritsch
Andrew Fritsch has been actively practicing criminal law since 1997. He graduated with a double degree in psychology and political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has a law degree from the University of Dayton. Mr. Fritsch was employed from 1997 - 2005 at the State Attorney’s Office in Charlotte County. In addition to working at the local State Attorney's Office, Andrew has also worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office’s in Washington D.C. and Dayton, Ohio. He has also worked in Seattle, Washington at the King County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Fritsch was also an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University where he taught about family law and torts to students who studying in the legal program. This background has helped him prepare to vigorously defend clients in both State and Federal Court. While at the Charlotte County State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Fritsch’s practice was primarily focused on individuals charged with serious drug offenses as well as habitual felony offenders.
Mr. Fritsch is a member of the Florida Bar, the New York Bar, the Washington State Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Fritsch is currently the vice-president of the Charlotte County Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and an active participant of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Fritsch’s practice includes DUI Defense and Criminal Defense. He has attended seminar’s in Orlando, Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada specializing in DUI defense. This specialized training allows him to better defend his clients accused of DUI. |
